Compare Jobber alternatives using your current staff bill and the functions you need to keep. A simpler booking or scheduling system may cost less, but check whether it can also handle your quotes, invoices and accounting.

Start by recording what you currently use: requests, quotes, recurring visits, invoices, accounting sync, reminders and customer conversations. Removing unused functions can be sensible. Accidentally removing the function that keeps the books consistent is not.

Alternatives by feature and cost

Problem Alternative worth examining Avoid this false comparison
User bundles are expensive for the real team Maidily or Launch27 Their feature tiers and job quantities still apply
Booking rules matter more than a formal quote process BookingKoala or Launch27 Booking configuration does not automatically replace QBO sync
The cleaning diary is the main operational concern ZenMaid Its base does not include every active staff profile
Need comparable field-service breadth Housecall Pro Annual equivalents are not month-to-month rates
Want job-based pricing and can accept device constraints ServiceM8 Android Lite is not identical to the full iOS app

This is a requirement-based shortlist, not a claim that these products perform every Jobber function. Maidily pricing and plan matrix Launch27 pricing BookingKoala pricing ZenMaid: How much does it cost? Housecall Pro pricing ServiceM8 Lite Android capabilities

Compare the right Jobber user bundle

Jobber's current public Connect month-to-month options distinguish $139 for one user and $199 for five users. The annually prepaid five-user equivalent is $149. Those amounts describe different headcounts or obligations, not contradictory prices. Two-way SMS is listed on Grow, not simply on any plan carrying the Connect name. Jobber pricing

Compare the intended bundle and billing arrangement. An owner plus five cleaners is six profiles if all need their own access. It is not the same as five cleaners sharing a single account.

A quotation-based multiuser Core option also exists, so this publication does not claim that our listed Connect bundle is the cheapest possible contract offered to every team. Published-price comparison and custom negotiation are different tasks.

Keep quotes, jobs and invoices connected

For residential work, a first clean may require a quote while later visits follow an agreed repeating scope. A replacement must preserve both the sales decision and the service schedule.

The failure to avoid is creating a new booking flow that takes every inquiry as a fixed-price promise, even when the original process required assessment. The opposite failure is manually quoting every standard clean because the replacement workflow was never configured appropriately.

A basic migration record should include the accepted scope, price basis, customer agreement, unpaid amount and next visit. The invoice guide provides a neutral event model; the switching guide covers cutover.

Accounting can be worth the higher subscription

Do not cancel Jobber's existing accounting workflow based on an alternative's future promise. ZenMaid's current price page still describes QuickBooks as coming soon. BookingKoala native QBO support remains unverified in this edition. Maidily and Housecall Pro publish current options, but the exact sync behavior still differs. If the business chooses manual reconciliation at a lower volume, count that work honestly. A $50 subscription saving is not automatically a $50 improvement when it adds several hours of checking or re-entry. Our switching calculator keeps cash costs separate from the value assigned to time.

Comparing Housecall Pro

At the inspected standard annual five-user examples, Jobber Connect and Housecall Pro Essentials both total $1,788 for the year. At month-to-month rates, the displayed five-user comparison is $199 versus $189. The real choice may therefore depend more on workflow and integration than dramatic price differences. Use the full comparison for recurrence, staffing, accounting and message distinctions. Do not infer that broader feature coverage makes either product the right fit for every maid service.

Choosing a Jobber replacement

For a booking-led switch, compare BookingKoala. For a cleaning-calendar evaluation, compare ZenMaid. For another broad field-service platform, compare Housecall Pro. Add Maidily or Launch27 when a user-pricing model is the actual objection.

Keep Jobber when the required process works and the alternative saving does not justify its first-year cost. Buying less software is useful only when the business still performs the necessary work.
