ServiceM8 prices paid plans by new-job allowance, with unlimited users. Check your cleaners’ phones before comparing costs: Android Lite supports fewer field tasks than the iPhone app.
This guide uses the US price page. Figures in other country editions should not be treated as the same currency or payment offer.
US plans and new-job allowances
| US plan | Monthly | Users | New jobs per billing month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 | 30 |
| Starter | $29 | Unlimited | 50 |
| Growing | $79 | Unlimited | 150 |
| Premium | $149 | Unlimited | 500 |
The US page lists one user on Free and unlimited users on paid plans. The quotas are labeled new jobs per month. Premium Plus is also advertised at $349 for 1,500-plus jobs, but it is outside this small-team calculator's normalized range. The current US matrix includes recurring jobs on Free as well as paid plans; do not rely on an older review that automatically requires Starter for recurrence. ServiceM8 USA pricing
The arithmetic is not “cleaners multiplied by price.” Adding a second user makes the Free user allowance unsuitable, while adding another user to a qualifying paid plan does not itself create another subscription seat fee.
How recurring work counts toward the job limit
Our calculator asks separately for new ServiceM8 job cards expected in the billing cycle. It does not silently substitute the total visits scheduled in a calendar month.
This distinction is justified by the recurrence documentation: future bookings can remain inactive and without a job number until the chosen activation window. A later service date may therefore have a different job-card creation timing. The simple recurrence workflow also differs from the more configurable recurring-job setup. For comparison, Maidily's pricing defines its quantity as scheduled appointments. Those are not interchangeable measures merely because both vendors use the word “job.” Maidily pricing and plan matrix
If the new-job input is left unknown, ServiceM8 is shown as unpriced rather than assigned a false quota result. Bonus credits or grace periods are not assumed. ServiceM8 documents payment-linked bonus credits for Free, but a prospective payment is not a safe substitute for known capacity. ServiceM8 Free plan
Android Lite and iPhone app differences
ServiceM8 Lite gives Android field workers access to assigned jobs and core job functions. Its documentation distinguishes that experience from the full iOS app: limitations include field payment acceptance, other workers' schedules and broader client-history access. ServiceM8 Lite Android capabilities
That produces a more useful decision than either “iPhone only” or “works identically on both platforms.”
A cleaner who needs their own job details, task completion and photos may have a different device requirement from an owner who must rearrange the entire team's diary and collect payment in the field. A mixed-device company can be viable only when the actual roles fit those differences.
Our finder offers a conservative exclusion for buyers who require those fuller Android field-management/payment capabilities. It is not a certification of every other vendor's Android app. It simply avoids silently recommending a known mismatch.
Free-plan limits and payment charges
Free has a small user and new-job allowance; payment processing remains separate. The current US pricing also distinguishes paid-plan text messaging from Free's displayed per-SMS charge. Destination, registration and applicable service conditions still matter, so the calculator does not turn “free text messaging” into a universal zero messaging budget. ServiceM8 USA pricing
Consider Free for a genuinely solo, low-volume operation whose required workflow fits. Do not work around the one-user rule by distributing the owner's credentials to a crew. Consider a paid plan for a real team only after checking the new-job allowance.
Customer booking and accounting
ServiceM8's US feature list advertises online booking, quotes, invoices, checklists and accounting integration. Those entitlements make it worth evaluating as a job-management alternative, not merely a free calendar. ServiceM8 USA pricing
A sensible cleaning process keeps the customer promise explicit: requested visit, confirmed slot or quoted scope. It also keeps the accounting event explicit: invoice, payment and later adjustment. A collection of included features does not define those responsibilities for the business.
For a recurring clean, preserve the original service rule while handling a single exception. The documented distinction between inactive recurring bookings and active job cards helps explain why an apparently simple calendar change can involve different records. Do not build an operational assumption from a screenshot of one job.
When to choose ServiceM8
Shortlist ServiceM8 when a job-based plan fits the billing-cycle volume and iOS/full-app or Android-Lite roles fit the workforce. Look elsewhere first when full Android field payments or whole-team mobile management are essential and a device change is unacceptable.
A device replacement has both cash and training cost. Include it in the switching payback calculator, rather than claiming a lower monthly subscription is automatically cheaper.
Compare the public plans, read the mobile requirements guide, and use the software finder with the separate new-job input.
